AI SEO · Built for African markets

Everything your customers search. Answered by your site.

We run the keyword research, the writing, and the technical work on a weekly schedule — and hand you a report that names every page, every keyword, and every position. AI does the volume; a person edits every word. No dashboard mysteries.

No lock-in · Month to month · Keyword list shared before we write

In short

AfriShield AI provides AI SEO and local search optimisation for businesses across West, Central, East, and Southern Africa. We handle keyword research, content, technical SEO, and visibility in AI answer engines — ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and Google — for small businesses, e-commerce brands, and professional firms, from USD 150 a month, reported monthly in plain numbers.

The problem

SEO does not usually fail. It usually just stops.

Almost every business we talk to has already paid for search once. The work rarely failed on strategy — it failed because nobody owned it week to week, and nobody could tell what had actually shipped.

01

The agency retainer that bought silence

Twelve months, a monthly invoice, and a dashboard nobody could read. When you asked which page moved, the answer was a screenshot of a line going up and to the right with no axis labels.

02

The website nobody searches for

It looks fine. It loads fast. It has never appeared for a single phrase a customer would actually type, because nobody ever wrote down what those phrases were.

03

The content that stopped in March

Three posts in January, two in February, one in March, then nothing. Not because it was not working — because writing is the first thing to fall off a busy desk.

Solutions

Three jobs. Run continuously.

Search work is not a project with an end date. These three loops run every week for as long as you are with us.

We decide what to target before anyone writes a word

Every engagement starts with a keyword map you get to read and argue with. We cluster by intent, throw out the noise, and assign one primary keyword per page — claimed once, never reused.

  • Intent clustering
  • Noise filtered out
  • One keyword, one page
ClusterRecommended action
  • Aaccountant near meHome + service page
  • Dhow much does a bookkeeper costPricing post
  • Ebehind on my booksEmpathy post
  • Jaccounting degree salarySkip — wrong audience
  • Laccounting software loginSkip — navigational

Roughly three in four exported rows never earn a page. Filtering them out is the job.

Capabilities

The whole job, not the interesting third of it

Search work is roughly thirty separate tasks. Most of them are unglamorous and all of them matter. Here is the list, in full.

Capabilities: Keyword clustering, Intent mapping, Competitor SERP teardown, Title & meta writing, Internal link planning, Schema markup, Featured-snippet targeting, Core Web Vitals, Sitemap & robots, Search Console setup, Local landing pages, Google Business Profile, Rank tracking, Monthly reporting.

Written for the question, not the algorithm

Every post answers something a real person typed. We read what already ranks, then cover the parts it skips — usually the price, and usually when you do not need this yet.

Technically correct by default

Schema on every page, one canonical per route, a sitemap that matches reality, and metadata that fits inside the character limits Google actually renders.

Built for how Africa searches

Mobile-first weight budgets, local phrasing over imported templates, and location pages written with real neighbourhoods instead of a find-and-replace on the city name.

Who we serve

Built for African businesses, at every size

From a single kiosk to a firm across several markets — the same three loops, priced so the smallest business can start.

Small business

The shop, the salon, the one-person practice. Found by the neighbourhood already looking for them.

Growing & mid-market

Several services, more than one city, and competitors who already invest in being found.

An African corporate team reviewing charts and documents in a meeting.

Corporate & professional

Firms where trust drives the sale — insurers, accountants, lawyers, consultancies.

Process

What the first month actually looks like

No black box, no discovery phase that quietly eats a quarter. Here is the order things happen in, and what you hold at the end of each stage.

  1. 01

Week 1 — The audit nobody enjoys

We crawl what you have, pull what you already rank for, and read your three closest competitors line by line. You get a list of what is broken, ordered by what it costs you.

  2. 02

Week 2 — The keyword map

Every phrase worth targeting, clustered by intent, with the noise thrown out and marked as thrown out. You approve this before a single word gets written.

  3. 03

Weeks 3–4 — Foundation and first pages

Technical fixes land, schema goes on every route, the sitemap starts telling the truth, and the first two pages publish against their claimed keywords.

  4. 04

Month 2 onward — The loop

Publish, track, report, adjust. Same rhythm every week. The first report arrives at day thirty and every thirty days after that.

Commitments

What we will put in writing

We have no client quotes to show you yet, and we are not going to invent any. These are the terms instead — the things you can hold us to from day one.

You see the keyword list first

Before anything is written, you get the map and a veto. If a cluster is wrong for your business, it comes out.

Losses go in the report

When a position slips, it appears in the same report as the wins, at the same size. A report that only carries good news is not a report.

Every page is yours to keep

The content, the schema, the keyword log — all of it lives in your repository and your domain. Leaving does not cost you the work.

We say when it is not working

If three months in the numbers do not justify the invoice, you will hear it from us before you have to ask.

Honest claims

Three things we will never say to you

The fastest way to lose a client is to promise something search cannot deliver. So here are the promises we have ruled out, on the record.

  • No guaranteed rankings

Nobody controls Google. Anyone selling you position one is selling you a number they cannot deliver, and you will pay for it either way.

  • No traffic without a timeline

New pages typically take weeks to settle and months to compete. We will tell you which months look flat before you sign, not after.

  • No borrowed prose

We read what ranks to learn the shape of a good answer. We never reproduce it. Every sentence on your site is written for your site.

Ask an AI about us

Skip the sales page. Ask your assistant of choice to summarise what we do, what it costs, and how to reach us — it will read this site and answer.

Writing

FAQ

The questions that come up on every first call

Answered here so the call can be about your business instead.

  • Technical fixes can move things within weeks. New content usually takes two to four months to settle into a stable position, and competitive commercial phrases take longer than that. If someone quotes you thirty days for a competitive term, ask what happens in month two when it has not happened.
